I have just relocated to the Florida. I am in the process of setting up my station. Could use some help in deciding on a good tower system for this part of country.

I will be relocating to the Bradenton area, Parrish actually, in October. Although I run a modest station, I have been contesting for a long time and enjoy it a lot. I will be coming to a meeting before long and hoping to join. And if Manatee County can be cooperative, I will have a crank-up and tribander standing before long. 73 to all.

My condolences to Ellen and Jim's family, and to his many friends. I worked for Bob and Ellen White many years ago at ARRL Headquarters. I remember Jim as a young boy, but have heard much about his contest abilities in recent years. Best Regards, Dave

I'm sad to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with him at ARRL HQ in the summer of (appropriately) 1973. Really enjoyed getting to know him (he was "Jamie" then) and his folks...
